From January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026, The Range is organizing an ongoing year-long challenge via Toptracer. Every week, you play the weekly challenge, earn points based on your position, and collect extra points when you return. At the end of the year, there will be one overall winner.

The Annual Challenge is an accessible competition for everyone: from absolute beginners to avid golfers. You play at your own skill level, so you always participate at a level that suits you.

Who is this for?
For everyone. Even if you are not (yet) a golfer.
You play at one of these skill levels (disability indication):
Beginner: Hcp 36.0 – 54.0
Novice: Hcp 25.0 – 35.9
Intermediate: Hcp 10.0 – 24.9
Advanced: Hcp 0.0 – 9.9
Elite: Hcp -0.1 – -9.9
Important: if there are fewer than 5 participants in a category, that category may be merged with the most comparable category with the lowest number of participants. The Toptracer leaderboard remains the leading factor in this process.
Toptracer games & modes
The games below are used and deployed in random order:
Long Drive
Hit the ball as far as possible.
Every valid drive counts, but only your longest drive determines your score.
Power, timing, and technique make the difference here.
Approach Challenge
Aim your shots at various targets on the range.
The closer you land to the target, the more points you score.
Perfect for precision and control.
Closest to the Pin
Who is closest to the flag?
Every shot is measured to the centimeter.
Ideal for short irons and wedges.
Virtual Golf
Play real golf courses from all over the world.
You play holes just like on the course, but from the driving range.
Strategy, course management, and shotmaking come together.
Toptracer 30
Hit 30 balls and collect as many points as possible.
Distance, direction, and consistency are combined.
A complete test of your overall game.
Points game
Different goals, different point values.
The smarter you play, the higher your score.
Tactics are at least as important as technique here.
This is how it works
Play the Toptracer weekly challenge on The Range
Your score automatically appears on your category leaderboard.
You earn points based on your position
Do you make it onto the leaderboard that week? Then you also receive a return bonus.
The competition runs all year round, so you can join at any time.
Because only your best 10 weeks count, you can still seriously compete for the win later in the year.

2: 80 points
3: 70 points
4: 60 points
5: 55 points

16: 15 points
17: 13 points
18: 11 points
19: 9 points
20: 7 points
21 and lower: 5 points
Return bonus (participation bonus)
Every week that you make it onto the leaderboard with a weekly challenge, you receive 10 extra points.
Ranking & winner
This is how the final ranking is determined:
Only the 10 best weekly results count.
On top of that come your accumulated participation bonuses
All categories are merged into one overall final ranking.
The participant with the highest total score wins the Annual Challenge and receives the Big Green Egg MiniMax. In the event of a tie, a public draw will take place.
Extra events (bonus moments)
In addition to the regular weekly challenges, The Range may organize extra events in between where extra points can be earned. These events are announced in advance via our channels.
Fair play
The Toptracer leaderboard is the governing body. The organization reserves the right to verify skill levels on a random basis (this will in any case happen to the overall winner). In case of abuse (incorrect skill level, multiple accounts, manipulation), scores may be declared invalid or exclusion may follow.
